PCPPI, LLDA partner for more sustainable Laguna de Bay

Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) and the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the joint initiative, Abot-Kamay Para sa Laguna de Bay  Mission in Action: Solid Waste Recovery. The partnership reinforces the two organizations commitment to protect and preserve the Laguna de Bay through collaborative solid waste recovery efforts and pollution control, in line with the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Law. PCPPI also remains an active member of the Muntinlupa Watershed Management Council and has adopted the Magdaong River under LLDAs Adopt-a-River projectunderscoring its long-term dedication to the health of local water ecosystems.

In support of a waste-free future, employees from Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines, Inc. (PCPPI) recently participated in the 2024 Earth Day Run at the Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay City. The said event is the country’s first eco-friendly run, as all runners were required to bring their own hydration bottles to help cut down on plastic waste. Over 30 PCPPI Bravehearts from its Headquarters, National Key Accounts, Metro Operations Services, and Southern Tagalog Region Operations each completed the five-kilometer race route as part of the organization’s advocacy. This year’s Earth Day Run was staged by Runrio Inc. and supported by the Tzu-Chi Foundation Philippines. The Japan Travel Fair 2025 drew a strong crowd of travel enthusiasts eager to plan their next visit to Japan at the Glorietta Activity Center, held on the weekend of February 22-23.
